Bespoke Architectural Concrete Façade

Architect: heitmann architekten

A beige acid-etched concrete façade defines the appearance of the new extension to the Gütersloh District Court. Comprising 173 precast reinforced concrete elements and covering approximately 1,095 m², the façade gives the building a clean, elegant architectural character.

Distinctive design features include bespoke perforated concrete elements around the glazed stairwells. A custom-made façade element bearing the inscription "Amtsgericht Gütersloh" complements the overall design and emphasises the building's identity.

The combination of precision-manufactured exposed concrete elements, a finely textured surface and bespoke design details creates a distinctive façade that brings together functionality and aesthetics.

HERING Architectural Concrete was responsible for the planning, production, delivery and installation of the façade elements. The project was commissioned by PORR Hochbau West GmbH, with the architectural design by heitmann architekten.
