Textile concrete façade and Corten steel

As part of the targeted growth of Kreissparkasse Gründau, the realization of a modern service center became necessary. The vision became reality: a functional and architecturally sophisticated new building with approximately 1,500 m² of office and commercial space across two floors was created.
Particular attention was paid to the design of the building envelope. The foundation of the new building was constructed using weather-resistant Corten steel, while the upper floor was clad with a high-quality textile concrete façade. The chosen material was anthracite-colored textile concrete betoShell®FLEX30 with a washed surface – a stylistically harmonious complement to the ground floor.
In total, around 248 façade panels were installed over an area of approximately 370 m².
The result is a modern, aesthetically convincing building that not only enhances the townscape of Gründau but also sustainably strengthens the presence of Kreissparkasse.
