A project of this scale requires precise planning and coordination. Numerous stakeholders, fixed track possessions and complex logistics had to be carefully aligned. Materials, machinery and personnel needed to be available at the right place and at the right time. At the same time, the work had to be coordinated with overhead line isolations, other trades and the specified construction windows.
The project involved more than the modernisation of the switch system. The track substructure was also extensively renewed, a switch blade assembly was replaced and the shunting routes were restored. Step by step, this created a modern, high-performance and durable rail infrastructure.
Thanks to the close cooperation of all teams involved, the project was completed successfully within the scheduled track possessions. Special thanks go to all employees and project partners who helped ensure smooth operations throughout the several-month construction period.
