Between possession times and custom solutions: Project completion in Müllheim

Infrastructure projects along the railway come with their own unique set of rules – and that’s exactly what makes them so exciting. The latest project for Zürcher Bau once again demonstrated that when planning meets reality, flexibility and technical expertise are essential.

The HERING platform roofing team delivered a comprehensive scope of services for the rail stop in Müllheim:

2 platform canopies (type Bodenheim)
2 ramp enclosures
1 glass wind protection wall

From planning and manufacturing to delivery and installation, everything was provided from a single source.

A particular challenge arose with the wind protection wall originally specified in the tender. During the course of the project, it was converted to the rail-approved TapRail system. This redesign had a direct impact on the construction process: a ramp enclosure that had already been installed had to be partially dismantled to make room for the new solution.

Despite multiple adjustments and logistical challenges, the project was successfully completed.
