Insights into Germany’s dual vocational training system
Through a series of presentations, the HERING team introduced students to the benefits of Germany’s dual vocational training system and the wide range of career opportunities in skilled technical professions – such as track construction or working as a railway track technician.
Interest among the students was high, with many questions focusing on everyday life, training conditions, and future prospects in Germany.
Language as the key to successful integration
Language preparation was another central topic during the discussions. Together with the teaching staff, measures were developed to help students improve their German skills in a targeted way. After all, language is the key – not only to a successful start in vocational training, but also to integration into everyday life.
Eight new apprentices from Prizren join HERING
The second visit at the end of May brought encouraging results: Eight young people from Prizren have decided to begin their vocational training with HERING – six in track construction and two as future railway track technicians.
This is a strong signal that personal connection, reliability, and genuine interest have a lasting impact and can open up new perspectives – even across national borders.
Shaping the future through partnership
HERING extends its sincere thanks to the school in Prizren for the open and dedicated collaboration. Supporting young talent across borders is a key pillar of HERING’s sustainable approach to recruiting the next generation.
