New platform in May
The first stage in May involved building a 47-metre-long platform in modula® light design, directly connected to the existing conventional platforms. The modular construction allowed flexible adaptation to site conditions. Thanks to smooth coordination with other trades and precise scheduling with railway operations, the team was able to work efficiently and on time.
New platform roofs in June
June saw the installation of two roofs from the “Evolution” product line:
• Evolution 2020 Type 3: approx. 30 m long, installed in early June
• Evolution Typ 4 (single-column design): approx. 24 m long, installation starting 4 June
Both roofs are made of high-quality steel structures and were precisely integrated into the existing station environment. Despite their different designs, they create a cohesive and modern overall appearance.
Enhanced comfort for passengers
The new platform and two roofs have significantly upgraded the station:
• Improved accessibility
• Increased waiting comfort
• Attractive design for a welcoming station environment
