The Evolution 2020 roof type impresses not only with its dimensions – 45 meters long and 11.10 meters wide – but above all with its technology: The roof covering features modern glass-glass modules from Sunovation, which provide both protection and environmentally friendly power generation.
The implementation of the project presented the team with special challenges: since assembly could only take place during night-time track closures, precise planning and flawless execution were essential. Despite these conditions, installation was successfully completed in May.
