Hering Architectural Concrete (HAC) symbolises the new, elegant and timeless lightness of today's building culture. The company's guiding principles play a significant role in the development of Hering's architectural concrete brand. Environmental awareness and sustainable construction: In its history stretching back more than 120 years, the family company has always displayed a great commitment to the preservation of our natural resources. The aim has always been to manufacture products in an environmentally friendly way. The construction industry in Germany requires a vast quantity of resources: the annual level of consumption is 250 million tonnes of sand and gravel and 230 million tonnes of stone – predominantly for making concrete. The amount of waste that is produced as a result should also not be forgotten.

Working together with Hering's experienced experts in the field of architectural facades and with an eye on the future, an intelligent textile-reinforced concrete solution has been produced which offers a persuasive choice thanks to its multi-faceted design options and sustainability. betoShell® is a material concept of Hering Architectural Concrete. Less material is used for producing the thin-walled and lightweight betoShell® facades, which means that resources are conserved, and the elements are also easier to remove, which counteracts the problem of waste materials being produced. The aesthetically appealing products can be configured in lots of different ways: whether polished, light-reflecting, with a photographic print, high / low relief recesses, dashes of colour – the individual wishes of customers can be met. The Hering team goes about its work with an eye to the future and the passionate drive to find solutions and new answers that reflect a changed building culture. The new HAC brand symbolises the modern, innovative and responsible spirit of the Hering team of experts. In a dedicated HAC magazine which was first published to coincide with the BAU 2015 trade fair, there are lots of reports on exciting news and developments.
