Large station renovation in Hagen

In the spring, we received the order from DB Netz AG in Duisburg for the extensive renovation work at Hagen-Hohenlimburg station. Within five weeks, over 2 million euros of construction work is carried out.

In a confined space with countless cable, water supply and drainage pipes in the way, a total of 2,495m of track, 3 points and 2 level crossings were renewed and 1,100m of deep drainage newly constructed. All newly installed and removed material was taken in and out of the construction site on the Hering rail wagon. All in all, the supply and disposal concept had to be implemented for 15,000 tons of material.
