Precision Work Beneath the Cable-Stayed Bridge in Raunheim

Beneath the cable-stayed bridge in Raunheim, our teams are once again demonstrating the capabilities of modern track construction using heavy machinery. The installation of three turnouts was carried out step by step with maximum precision and perfectly coordinated operations.

Here, machine power and true craftsmanship work seamlessly hand in hand. Components weighing several tonnes were positioned, aligned, and integrated into the existing infrastructure with millimetre precision.

In addition, around 350 sleepers are being renewed on site, the entire ballast bed within the turnout area is being replaced, approximately 210 metres of track are being renewed, and a further 12 metres of rail are being installed.

HERING sustainability

At HERING, we see ourselves as pioneers in the field of sustainability. As early as 1996, we were the first construction company in Germany to obtain EMAS certification. Every three years, we publish an environmental statement documenting our goals and how we have achieved them. Actually, for the first time, we published a sustainability report with an integrated environmental statement in accordance with EMAS - a logical next step in view of our ecological and social responsibility. It documents how we deal internally and externally with the issues that are essential to our future viability.
