As part of the comprehensive modernization of the Riedbahn, HERING planned, produced, and installed six modular system platforms. Two new platform constructions, two platform refurbishments with height adjustments, and two platform extensions were successfully completed within a tight schedule.
Thanks to the modular design using the modula® Typ 1, modula® light, and modula® flex systems, platforms with lengths of up to 220 meters were implemented efficiently. Despite challenging conditions such as tight timeframes and parallel track works, installation was carried out with precision and on schedule.
This project once again demonstrates HERING’s expertise as a leading provider of innovative, sustainable, and cost-efficient platform solutions. Our modular platforms offer fast implementation for a high-performance rail infrastructure.

As a confirmation of decades of research into solutions for producing resource-efficient concrete, HERING Bau GmbH & Co. KG Systeme received the CSC certification in gold for the first time in February 2026, with an outstanding score of 75,39 %.
