HERING deployed the team to Rheinweiler station (south of Freiburg in Breisgau) on behalf of the DB Station&Service AG Karlsruhe. The team took advantage of the nightly closures that took place from 1 to 6 December 2020 to raise the side-boarding Platform 1 using modula® flex slabs.
The innovative platform elements from Holzhausen were installed at the end of the platform over a length of 150 metres and a width of 1.20 metres to enable passengers to board and disembark trains safely and without having to negotiate any steps.
